Project Overview
Lakeview Electric delivered a comprehensive electrical fit-out for Midland Transport’s warehouse, ensuring a clean, efficient, and reliable power system to support its high-demand operations. From underground wiring installation to strategic power distribution within the facility, our team designed an infrastructure that enhances efficiency and long-term performance.
The new terminal is strategically located on 22 acres in the Atlantic Gateway – Halifax Logistics Park, next to five highways, which provide quick access to and from the region. It is less than 15 minutes from the centre of Halifax, the Halifax Stanfield International Airport, and the Port of Halifax.

Full electrical fit-out for a high-performance warehouse and cross-dock operation, designed to enhance productivity while reducing handling and damage.
Underground piping system to carry electrical wiring from the transformer to the building, ensuring a clean and organized setup.
Interior power distribution with strategically installed piping for lighting, devices, and equipment across the 92-door terminal, which includes 54 transport doors, 35 courier doors, two customer pickup doors, and one drive-up ramp door.
Electrical panel and outlet installation for seamless power management and operational efficiency.
All LED lighting throughout the facility for energy efficiency and long-term cost savings.
Infrastructure for electric vehicle charging stations to support employee EVs.
Power systems for electric forklifts and an electric yard truck, aligning with sustainability initiatives and operational efficiency.
Temperature-controlled storage electrical systems designed to support fresh, frozen, and fish product storage.
Security-enhanced electrical work, including wiring for a fully secured yard with an automated gate and camera system, ensuring the safety of customers, freight, and employees.
